There’s no live support for this app (see the FAQ below) — this page is the place to look first.
Create an account with an email and a password of at least 8 characters. That password derives the key that encrypts your collection — write it down somewhere safe, because there’s no way to reset it. Once you’re in, click Add Item to log your first firearm, bow, or NFA item.
Each item has a category (which decides whether it counts as an NFA item), make, model, a spec field (caliber for firearms, draw weight for bows), condition, acquisition date and price, current value, and a storage location. Serial numbers, storage location, and notes are encrypted individually. Click any item card to edit it, or to delete it.
Checking “This is an NFA item” (automatic for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs) reveals fields for stamp type, holder (individual or trust), control number, and approval date. Every NFA item also shows up in the dedicated NFA Registry table on your dashboard, so you don’t have to open each item individually to check a control number.
Use CSV for a spreadsheet you can hand to an insurance appraiser, or Download PDF for a formatted report with your collection summary and, if you have any, a dedicated NFA registry section. Both are generated in your browser — nothing is uploaded to produce them.
See the Security page for how the encryption actually works. Short version: we can see your email, not your collection.
Open the account menu and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and every item in it — there’s no recovery window, so export a backup first if you want to keep a copy.
Not currently — there’s no phone, chat, or WhatsApp support for this app, and the main Ferrum Arms business is a separate operation that doesn’t handle Armory support requests. This Help Center is what exists today.
Your collection can’t be recovered. The encryption key is derived from your password and we never store it — there is no reset link, no backdoor, no exception. This is the direct cost of the zero-knowledge design.
Yes — log in with the same email and password anywhere, and your (still encrypted) collection syncs.
It's a real technical property, not a claim we're asking you to take on faith — see the Security page for the actual cryptography involved.
No. The Armory is a personal record-keeping tool only. It is not a system of record for any FFL and has no connection to ATF, NICS, or any dealer system.
We’d aim to notify accounts in advance so you can export your data. Because we can’t read your collection ourselves, there’s no scenario where it gets sold or handed over in readable form — there's nothing readable to hand over.
Yes — open any item and choose Delete. Account deletion is a separate, complete action for when you want to leave entirely.
