Terms of Service

What you’re agreeing to.

Last updated August 20, 2026. This is a plain draft, not a substitute for legal advice — Ferrum Arms should have this reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it as a real liability shield. If you have questions about a specific situation, talk to one.

1. No live support

The Armory is offered as-is with no live support channel of any kind — no phone, no chat, no WhatsApp, no support ticket queue. The main Ferrum Arms business (ferrumarms.com) is a separate operation and does not provide support for this application. If something breaks, check the Help Center. There is currently no guaranteed channel for reporting issues.

2. No warranty

The Armory is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time.

3. Your password, your responsibility

Your collection is encrypted with a key derived from your password, which we never see and cannot recover. If you lose your password, your data is permanently unrecoverable — by you or by us. You are solely responsible for remembering it or storing it safely (a password manager is a reasonable choice). This is a direct consequence of how the encryption works, not a policy we can waive on request.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ferrum Arms LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of The Armory — including data loss from a forgotten password, a service outage, or a security incident. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

5. What we’re responsible for

We are the data controller for the account information we can actually see (your email, signup date, item count) and we take reasonable, industry-standard security measures to protect it. See the Security page for specifics. A limitation-of-liability clause reduces certain damages claims; it does not eliminate our underlying legal obligations as a data controller, and we don’t represent that it does.

6. Acceptable use

Use The Armory to catalog your own lawfully-owned property. Don’t use it to store information about property you don’t own, don’t attempt to circumvent the encryption or access another account, and don’t use the service for anything unlawful.

7. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms: reach us through the contact channels listed on ferrumarms.com — general business contact only, not app support (see §1).
